Iqama Pro is built using three data sources:
• GPS data from the users who are willing to help people
by providing iqama times of their areas.
• Schools of thought with information available based on
Hanafi, Shafi, and Hambali sects.
• Various other methods including those developed by the
University of Karachi.
Being a volunteer at the local mosque, Salman Khan, the founder of IqamaPro understood the challenges of day to day of manually operating the azan and iqama timings.
Identifying the gaps in the system, Iqmapro was created to automize the namaz timings and notifications.
Salman bought his 25 years of work experience in System Engineering to volunteer work to simplifying day to day workings of the mosques.
